What is POP PICS?

Our POP PICS app allows a user to select photos from their smartphone gallery/albums and send them via the app for printing on our award winning silver halide photographic paper. Prints come in three sizes, 6x4 inch, 4x3.5 inch and 4x4 inch and in one surface, gloss. The prints are fun, easy to share around and store. They are durable and mark resistant.

What can I do with the POP PICS app?

The app allows the user to create a series of prints from their smartphone images, zoom and crop , and send it to us from the app to print as real photos! The app allows a user to create a print order in just a few simple steps. A user can choose to preview their order or bypass this and go straight to payment and submit.

How do I see my orders?

The app keeps a record of all your orders in ‘Order History’. You cannot reorder previous orders, just view the details. If you delete/uninstall the POP PICS app your order history will also be deleted forever. 

How long does delivery take?

We offer two delivery methods. Our free of charge domestic delivery is a 3-4 day service. Our chargeable International delivery is a 7-10 day service.

What does the app store about me and my orders?

The app itself keeps a record of all your orders and shows them in ‘Order History’. This information is not stored outside of the app (for example on a cloud or external ftp service), therefore if you delete/uninstall the app all of this information will be deleted forever. Order History shows: Print Size, quantity ordered, order number, purchase date, delivery method chosen. You cannot reorder previous orders in the app.

I originally declined the app access to my photos, how do I reset that?

Go to "Settings > Privacy > Photos", then enable POP PICS.

Can I print photos stored in my online and social media account/profiles like Facebook, Instagram, Google Photos?

No, but we are working on this for version 2 of the POP PICS app.

Is there an iOS and Android version of the app?

Yes, there are Apple iOS and Android versions available. We have no intention of releasing a Windows Phone version.

What payments can I use in the app to buy POP PICS photos?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Is the POP PICS app and website PCI Compliant?

Yes, the POP PICS app and website have full PCI Compliance. It is more than safe because we also do not store customer payment data as this is handled by Stripe, the payment gateway provider, in a one off encrypted transaction between the app and Stripe servers.

Does anyone else make anything like POP PICS?

We do not comment on other companies products. However, we feel POP PICS is the easiest and fastest way to print your photos currently available.

Do POP PICS prints have any branding on them?

No. Like all real photographic paper prints however there is sometimes a small back print logo that is barely visible. Sometimes we may use our non-backprint photographic paper which is totally blank on the reverse.

How quickly do you respond to email queries?

We aim to respond to customer emails the same working day, or at least within 24 hours. Our office hours are 0900 – 1700 Monday to Friday. Normal UK holiday periods also have an effect on our response time, for example during bank holidays, Christmas and New Year.
